Prime Minister Edi Rama, together with the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, visited Hysen Zhupani’s family in Shijak, whose home has been reconstructed from scratch in only three weeks.
In early September, PM Rama and Health Minister Manastirliu checked closely impoverished living conditions of this family of five. A reconstruction project was launched shortly after to transformed the ruined building into a contemporary house that provides normal, comfortable and healthy living conditions.
“We have compiled a list of such families and house reconstruction process is already underway for many of these families, whereas works to construct houses of other families will start soon. We will help these families as they live in extreme living conditions and their number, fortunately, is not high,” PM Rama said in his remarks.
