Taking notice that some fake news reports of provoking and political nature openly speculate over an alleged coordination centre for former ISIS fighters in Albania, the adviser to the Prime Minister on national security issues, Sandër Lleshi, announces that there is no plan, idea, request or opportunities for something like this.
These opinions citing a phrase used by Prime Minister Borissov are entirely unrelated to the subject that the Bulgarian government chief referred to in his statement.
It is simply all about the Coordination Centre against Violent Extremism, which was also the host of the international conference a few days ago, where the Prime Minister of Bulgaria attended.
Albania has tabled the proposal to turn this centre in to a regional centre for developing analyzes, assessments, researches, exchange of information as well as joint programs against violent extremism. However, this centre is neither, nor can it be, nor has anyone has ever thought to turn it into a relocation centre for former ISIS militants. Not only because nobody has ever asked for such a thing, but also because this fantasy has nothing to do with the mission of the Coordination Centre against Violent Extremism and our project for its regionalization.
