British travel company Thomas Cook (TCG.L), a renowned company for offering services in the world’s top and most attractive tourist destinations, will launch its operations in Albania starting by next spring. Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the presence of the renowned British travel company as he attended the presentation ceremony of its activities in our country.
“I am very happy to be here and attend your presentation and see for myself an effort being finalized that is very important to us not just because of numbers, 4 or 5 thousand, but for the quality and also the inspirational fact this quality brings to the future of our tourism. I very much hope you want limit yourself just in the hotels you can find, but also you will think investing and of course investing means you will bring more and more tourists. We can offer you some very good opportunities.
I hope we will soon start construction of the airport in Vlora, which will make it much easier for you to bring tourists to the country’s south. At the same time, we want to build as soon as possible an airport in Saranda and we would be very happy if you show interest in participating in this effort,” the Premier said, concluding by voicing confidence that “once you visit Albania, you would want to come back again. So the problem is to break the ice and once the ice is broken you will discover that it is much warmer than it seems from far away.”
