Prime Minister Rama held a meeting this afternoon with residents of Zvërnec, representatives of local businesses, and residents claiming ownership in this area, in order to hear directly their concerns and positions regarding the perspective of tourism investments in the area.
During the meeting, the legal aspects related to property ownership issues and the ongoing court proceedings were discussed, while the Prime Minister emphasized that any ownership claim can only be resolved through the institutions of justice and court decisions.
The Prime Minister clarified that there is currently still no approved project for Zvërnec and that any development will be carried out in accordance with the highest environmental standards. He assured that the process will continue in full compliance with the law and the public interest, guaranteeing transparency and continuous dialogue with the community.
During the discussion, Prime Minister Rama also brought concrete examples from the region, emphasizing the transformative impact that similar investments have had on the economic and tourism development of the areas where they have been implemented, while stressing that Albania must continue to support quality investments that create long term value for local communities and the national economy.
