Albanian Government Council of Ministers

Press release of the Deputy Prime Minister Senida Mesi after the meeting of the Council of Ministers:

As we have previously promised, we continue to keep the promise given in view of the ambitious plan of co-governance with the citizens, and facilitate the relationship of citizens with the Public Administration by providing more efficient and faster services through the E-Albania electronic platform.

Today, following the decision taken at the Meeting of the Council of Ministers, the list of services and documents reduced and offered online on the e-Albania portal launched with:

-Reduced use of certificates

– Confirmation of the active condition of the vehicle

– Authorization for reinstatement of the driving license and certification for driving license

– Pension certificate and health card

Has been expanded with:

– Copies of real estate records

– Copies of fragments of the cadastral mapping

– Ownership certification

The certification burden goes to the administration employees who, through the e-Albania portal, collect these documents themselves for their needs or procedures, thus freeing citizens completely from this process.

I would like to focus especially on the Reduced Use of Certificates, and I would like to inform the citizens that:

You are completely exempted from the obligation to withdraw and submit certificates to public institutions, so you are entitled to reject any requests that may come from Public Administration employees!

We are maximally committed to further increase the list of services provided online and improve such procedures, but at the same time we also ask for the citizens understanding with regard to any technical issues that may be encountered during this phase.

Let’s not forget, this is an important step forward in view of the Albanian government’s commitment to rebuilding the foundations of state relations with the citizen, always in favour of the latter.

Thank you!
