The consolidation of digital infrastructure in Albania was the focus of the workshop “Digital Communication – Maximization of the Spectrum Utilization, Opportunities and Challenges”. The roundtable was initiated in the context of the transition of audio and audiovisual media from analog broadcasting to digital one. This roundtable provided a forum for presentation and discussion on the future of digital infrastructure between government representatives, the OSCE Presence in Albania, experts in the field, both domestic and foreign, media operators, representatives of the mobile telephony and civil society. Discussions were outlined in two main aspects: digital media and mobile telephony.
