The new residential complex in the village of Bubq, Kruje municipality, is gradually taking its final shape as work is full steam ahead to complete on schedule construction of the multiple separate housing units and the single-family homes for the families affected by the devastating earthquake on November 26, 2019. Prime Minister Edi Rama toured the construction site today.

Construction of seven apartment buildings and 78 single-family homes, a new educational facility and the new administrative office building in the village of Bubq is set to complete this fall.

Work is currently focused on construction of the residential buildings. The new residential complex, according to the Director of the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) Dritan Agolli, will take its final shape by October. Communal premises and green spaces will be built between the apartment buildings. “Construction of the new school’s structure has completed and the thermal insulation system is heading to completion,” ADF Director Agolli said, underlining that new educational facility will be ready to welcome back children and teachers upon start of the upcoming school year.
