Prime Minister Edi Rama started a two-day on a working visit to Spain on the occasion of Albania’s participation in FITUR 2024, the International Tourism Trade Fair, the first global meeting point of the year for tourism professionals in Madrid.
Prime Minister Rama will be hosted by the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanches at a tête-à-tête meeting at his office in Madrid, followed by the talks between the two expanded delegations. The delegation accompanying PM Rama also includes the mayors of several Albanian municipalities.
Tomorrow, the government head is scheduled to take part in the opening ceremony of the FITUR 24 International Trade Fair by the King of Spain Felipe VI. Albania will showcase its rich tourist diversity and potential as a unique destination for everyone to visit.
During his participation in the tourism exhibition, PM Rama is expected to meet entrepreneurs and executives of leading international companies, as well as officials of the World Tourism Organization.
