Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a two-day visit to Stockholm, where he has been invited to make the main address at the summit “Creative Time”.

Today, the head of government Rama met Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven with whom he discussed bilateral relations during a working lunch at the Prime Minister’s Office of Sweden.

Prime Minister Rama thanked Prime Minister Lövfen for the ongoing support of Sweden to Albania, especially with regard to the process of European integration. Relations between the two countries were considered excellent and Prime Minister Lövfen congratulated the Albanian government on the reforms undertaken.

An important issue of discussion was the recent visit of Prime Minister Rama to Serbia as well as regional cooperation among Balkan countries.

Earlier, Prime Minister Rama met Swedish ambassadors accredited in the region and answered to their interest on the developments in the region and Albania’s process for European integration.
