Prime Minister Rama held a business meeting with US Ambassador Donald Lu. The meeting focused on the close friendship between the two countries and the cooperation within the NATO alliance.

The Prime Minister briefed Ambassador Lu on the priorities of the Albanian government and assured him of the continuing role that Albania, as a member of NATO, will play in promoting peace and stability in the region. Albania’s role in the global coalition against ISIL and promotion of religious harmony in our country were also important issues of discussion.

The Prime Minister thanked the US Ambassador for the valuable contribution that the United States have given to Albania and Albanians, and for the ongoing support of the US government to the European integration of our country.
