Participating leaders of the Open Balkan initiative countries, Albania, Serbia and North Macedonia, on Friday signed a series of important cooperation agreements during the latest Open Balkan summit being held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Leaders of the Open Balkan partner countries, Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign ministers of Turkey and Hungary attended the Belgrade Summit.
The leaders of the three Open Balkan countries signed the following agreements:
– Agreement on food security between the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia. (The agreement was signed by the ministers of agriculture of the respective countries)
– Memorandum of Understanding in the field of cinematography and audiovisual activities in the Western Balkans. (The agreement was signed by the ministers of culture of the respective countries)
– Agreement on energy and mining cooperation. (The agreement was signed by the Ministers of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania and Serbia)
– The inter-operational plan on civil emergencies between the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania. (The agreement was signed between the Deputy Minister and the head of the Department of Emergencies, Serbia, the Deputy Director of Civil Emergencies of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Director of the National Agency of Civil Emergencies of Albania)
