Prime Minister Edi Rama is paying a working visit in Skopje and will attend the regional summit “100 business leaders of southeast Europe – Interconnection”, with a focus on business and economic interaction among countries.
In the framework of this summit, Prime Minister Rama was received by the Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev. Bilateral relations and intensification of trade exchanges were at the centre of the talks.
To encourage this cooperation and facilitate economic interaction between the two prime ministers, they agreed to hold a joint meeting between the Albanian and Macedonian governments in the coming months. The foreign ministries of both countries will prepare the agenda of the meeting, as well as determine the time for holding the meeting of the two governments.
Leaders from the Western Balkans, business representatives from southeast Europe and representatives from the European Union will be part of the Summit.
