Dear students,

Taking notice of the constant need for more information over the Council of Ministers’ decisions on the tuition fees and university scholarships, we have opened a new section on the online portal Albania We Want (www.shqiperiaqeduam.al) to provide real time answers to the questions each student may raise in order to provide full clarification and explanations over the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decisions that directly affect the tuition fees and scholarship issues.

The section is named “I am a Student” and “I have a question.” As soon as you click and open Albania we Want portal, this section will appear as a pop-up window and you can write your questions there. Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth employees will promptly reply and provide answers in real time, even via live connection.

In addition to the portal and the Ministry’s Facebook page, we will provide live replies via this pop-up window. We will issue a notice to know what would be the best communication way between the Ministry of Education and the students in order to respond to you as soon as possible.

Since yesterday, Ministry of Education officials have been attached to the university and faculty secretariats, who are ready to provide explanations and answer to any question you may make. Today it is the last day they are to be found in the office of different faculties and from today afternoon, you may reach them via their cell phone numbers and they will be ready to answer your questions.

I would like to emphasize that in those faculties where a group of students are posing an impediment to conduct of lectures, in certain cases they have prevented the secretariats from working and people from going to secretarial offices. Unfortunately, at that point, it has been impossible for the Ministry of Education to assist you.

Therefore, it is important and I invite the universities and protesting students in these faculties to let the secretaries work and enable the participation of persons from the Ministry of Education to assist you with whatever questions you have.

Unless the secretary’s offices function, we cannot obtain the full list of students qualified for scholarships and exemptions from tuition fees, causing a bottleneck in the process of receiving scholarships and fee exemption.

That is, secretariats that are blocked are hindering the genuine process of solving all the unresolved issues so that the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decisions DCMs is carried out tangibly for all of you.

So, once again, I urge students who are currently blocking the secretaries to allow them work properly, because it is very important to implement the respective Council of Ministers’ decision on the tuition fees.

Once again, I want to remind you the portal “albaniaqëduam.al” there you can send your questions, whereas we will reply you as soon as possible.
