Governments are remembered for their leaders and the course they set during their time in power. The first Albanian government dates back to December 4, 1912, headed by Ismail Qemali. With the raising of the flag in Vlora, on November 28, 1912, Ismail Qemali was elected prime minister, becoming the first prime minister in the history of Albania. The history of governments over the years can help us to understand and make a difference in the way governments are run today.
