Albanian Government Council of Ministers

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed once again his sympathy for the desperate attempt of the Democratic Party not to deal with the real need of the country today, which is the Judiciary Reform.

The accusation of the Democratic Party on a picture taken with President Obama in 2012, when the current Prime Minister was in opposition, and the accusations of his illegal financing of President Obama’s campaign are another opportunity for citizens to see what level of desperation the opposition has reached today.

Prime Minister Rama has no connection with any kind of illegal financing, and the only “crime” that he has committed is that he took a picture with the US President in 2012, at a time when the Albanian government and its chief had all doors closed, and Albania’s international relations suffered because of the negative image of our country due to bad governance. It was the time when the government of Albania misused millions of dollars of the taxes of Albanians to lobby in the US, not for Albania, but to cover in mud the Socialist Party and Edi Rama with misleading articles commissioned and paid from Tirana.

The Democratic Party continues still to this day to pay for articles in second and third-hand newspapers overseas, so that it can sell them in Albania as “bombs” against the current government, which was officially received at the White House after years of closed doors.

Prime Minister Edi Rama takes once again this opportunity to publicly urge the Democratic Party to deal seriously with the country’s historical necessity of Justice Reform, instead of the propaganda of mud and charges. A justice freed from the grip of political and financial corruption will finally deliver the truth of all the allegations of the Democratic Party, as well as the truth of unpunished crimes in all these years!

Why does the Democratic Party fear this freedom that is necessary to everybody? Why doesn’t the Democratic Party agree on all parties together taking their hands out of the justice control system?

Why is the Democratic Party afraid of including our strategic allies in the International Monitoring Operation of Justice Reform?

These are the big questions of Albania today, not that picture taken with the President of the United States in 2012.
