It occurs only in Albania that an opposition party blames the government for promoting the country and seeking to boost foreign investments.

“The Economist” is one of the most prestigious magazines in the world, read by important investors and decision makers. In the special issue of the magazine to be distributed in the Davos Summit, the promotion of Albania is an excellent opportunity to attract significant foreign investments in Albania, to create more jobs, promote tourism and domestic production.

Considering the report of “The Economist” as an excellent opportunity to promote our country, and following the example of the governments of other countries such as Macedonia, Croatia, Turkey or Serbia, the Albanian government has signed a 36 million ALL contract to publish a detailed report on Albania.

Being one of the most prestigious and read magazines on a global scale, “The Economist” cannot publish any information that is not true, that is not verified and that is not written by journalists certified by the magazine itself.

Fortunately, unlike the previous government, this government does not spend millions of dollars of the public money neither to broadcast government advertising, nor to pay lobbyists asking them to spread throughout the world the mud of slander of the prime minister against the opposition, as the former prime minister used to do.

The Democratic Party continues to behave like the old government, using the language of hatred, slander and the primitive mud, which highlight every day its lack of leadership, program and ideas for the country. Time has come for the Democratic Party to be stripped of the skin of the old government and become the new opposition that Albania has been missing for two years and a half.

Today Albanians need an opposition that debates fiercely and criticizes strongly with arguments and facts, and not an old government instead of the opposition producing the language of hatred and defamation on a daily basis; it needs an opposition that gives alternatives, not a political group deprived of the power, which does nothing but insults and covers in mud every person and deed this country.
