Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a working visit to the United Arab Emirates where he met with the Prime Minister, His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

During this meeting, Prime Minister Rama stressed the need to foster economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as invited UAE entrepreneurs to invest in Albania. Of interest for both countries are investments in tourism and infrastructure, especially in seaports. The possibility of establishing a United Arab Emirates airline linking the two countries was also discussed in the meeting.

For his part, His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanked the head of Albanian government for the visit and expressed readiness to foster investments in our country.
